- Description
- Siemens TX-I/O Module Products SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS IS ONLY A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUCEMENT. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The U.S. Coast Guard is conducting market research to identify domestically manufactured alternatives to Siemens TX-I/O modules, which are part of the Siemens Building Automation (BA) System and connect to proprietary Siemens controllers. Specifically, we are seeking alternatives to the following Siemens TX-I/O module products: TXA1.K24, TXA1K-48, TXA1-72, TXM1.8D, TXS1.12F4, and TXS1.EF4. The modules are proprietary that connect to proprietary Siemens controllers. For these alternative modules to be considered manufactured in the United States, all manufacturing processes must take place in the United States, and at least 65 percent of the total cost of components must come from materials mined, produced, or manufactured domestically. The products must also be of satisfactory quality and available in sufficient quantities to meet commercial needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this request is 238220, which covers Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind for which nonavailability determinations have been made are treated as domestic. If your firm is interested, please respond by email to Barbara.l.williamson-garris@uscg.mil and sharan.a.lind@uscg.mil with subject Sources Sought Notice Siemens TX-I/O modules. Your response MUST include the following: (1) evidence of prior work in providing domestically manufactured TX-I/O modules that are comparable to including contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers and (2) detailed information on the domestically manufactured that is compatible with solution. Your response is required no later than November 18, 2025.
