Description

The National Park Service (""NPS"") issued Amendment No. 1 to the business opportunity soliciting proposals to award a new ten (10) year concession contract to operate guided horseback rides, horse boarding, and horse camp services within Point Reyes National Seashore. Amendment No. 1 updates the Business Opportunity, Draft Contract, and Exhibit A: Operating Plan for incorporation of the Personal Property Improvement Requirements (PPIR) for employee housing trailers. The specific sections updated in each document are as follows: Business Opportunity. Addition of the ""Personal Property Improvement Requirement"" section (pg. 11). Draft Contract. Inclusion of Section 8(e)(3): Personal Property Improvement Requirement (PPIR) (pg. 11). Exhibit A: Operating Plan. Rewording of section 5.D.1 (pg. A-16) referencing the Draft Contract, Section 8(e)(3). Any interested party intending to submit a proposal must submit a ""Notice of Intent to Propose"" as described in the Business Opportunity and Proposal Instructions, no later than 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on January 27, 2026. The NPS is ONLY accepting electronic proposals in response to this prospectus. Any proposal must be received electronically, no later than 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on February 26, 2026, in the format outlined in the Proposal Instructions, to be evaluated for award of the new concession contract. The prospectus is available on the NPS Commercial Services website (link provided below).
