Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W9127N26QA26 is a Request For Quotes under FAR Part 13 for the establishment of a single award, firm fixed price contract to purchase an Brand name Generator surface air cooler gaskets, Garlock MULTI-SWELL(TM) Style 3760 Compressed Fiber Gasket, Synthetic Fiber with Proprietary Rubber Binder, 0.125 Inch Thick, NSF 61 Certified. 2. Period of Performance (PoP). The Contractor shall provide, within 4 weeks of award date all Garlock Gaskets quantities IAW Statement of Work. 3. General Information: This effort is to include all associated characteristic required and described in the statement of work and Drawings 1 thru 4. 4. The solicitation document's incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-06 Effective date 10/01/2025. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 339991 - Gasket, Packing, and Sealing Device Manufacturing with a Small Business Size Standard of 600 Employees. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of active SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award The government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms from a cost price and technical standpoint. The government reserves the right to conduct discussion of the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary. If the Contracting Officer determines that the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition can be conducted, the contracting officer may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposal.
