Description

This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. Supply needed: Marine Barracks Washington requires to purchase Officer Blue Blouse and White Trousers (Uniform Items). See Document ""A1 Uniform Size Request"" for detail. The Government intends to award on a Sole Source basis to: The Fechheimer Brothers Company, 4545 Malsbary RD, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45242 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The reason for this Sole Source Award Intent is that THE FECHHEIMER BROTHERS COMPANY is the only vendor certified by Marine Corps Systems Command to provide these items to the United States Marine Corps. Interested vendors: Vendors interested in getting certified may respond via email to receive Marine Corps Systems Command's point of contact. In your response, please indicate whether you can provide the requirement specified uniform items. Responses by no later than 21 January 2026, 4:00 PM (Eastern time).
