Description

Presolicitation Notice DESCRIPTION Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, quality assurance, and supervision for renovations at Captain James A. Lovell FHCC, North Chicago, IL to enable complete and compliant replacement of AHU-12 Temptrol unit located in penthouse PD-100 of Bldg. 133 serving Surgical Administration and AHU-1 Johnson-Marcraft custom AHU serving the surgical area located in Rm 3C-100 of Bldg. 133. These air handlers supply the surgical suites 1-4 and all administrative areas except OR-5 and Cystoscopy. The renovation will remove and replace all AHU components as described in the project drawings and specifications. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a; (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified� SDVOSB/VOSB� listed in� the� SBA certification database at� https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/� (see 13 CFR 128).� � The solicitation will be issued on or about February 9, 2026, with the bid opening on or about March 11, 2026. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220; size standard $19.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 388 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
