Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE NOT A SOLICITATION. A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT November 28, 2025. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System currently has a requirement for a project to replace the Water Softener System of Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, at 7400 Merton Minter Boulevard, San Antonio, TX 78229. Replacement includes inspection and decommissioning of the underground brine tank and pump system, removal of the existing solar water storage system and med gas equipment, temporary water softener system, new water softeners system, water softener room structural repairs and improvements, new pier and pad foundations, new med gas equipment and pump room construction. General Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct project Replace Water Softener System in accordance with all Contract Documents. All work shall be done in accordance with the SOW. The SOW will be posted with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 with a small business size standard of $19M. The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
