- The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Mahan's Thermal Products Inc. for CONDENSER, 130 TON CHILLED WATER PLANT repair. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), which permits sole source awards when only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Mahan's Thermal Products Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and possesses proprietary knowledge, technical expertise, and specialized capabilities that are essential to meet the requirements of this procurement. No other vendor has been identified that can provide the required goods/services with the same level of compatibility, quality, and performance. However, any interested party that believes it can fulfill the requirements may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed below.
