US Army, CECOM, Integrated Logistics Support Center, Combat Aviation Directorate, Aviation Mission Systems Branch, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, 21005 59 Market Survey for the MD-1386/A IMPROVED DATA MODEM MODEL IDM401 MODULE Repair. Robert Liang, FCDD-ISE-HIB This is a sources sought Market Survey to identify source(s) for the repair of the MD-1386/A IMPROVED DATA MODEM Model, IDM-401, Modules. The items below are seven of the ten Modules that comprise the MD-1386/A IDM401: Radio Interface Module PN# 1037135, NSN: 5820-01-706-4341 Data Processor Module PN# 1037136-101, NSN: 7010-01-706-4957 Data Processor Module PN# 1037136-103, NSN: 7010-01-707-5542 Power holdup Module PN# 1037138, NSN: 6130-01-706-5454 Power Supply Module PN# 1037139, NSN: 6130-01-706-4391 Ethernet Switch Module PN# 1037134-101, 1430-01-707-4369 Ethernet Switch Module PN# 1037134-103, NSN: 1430-01-707-5448 The Modules are installed in the MD-1386/A Improved Data Modem IDM401 to perform communications functions. Detailed technical data for the maintenance or acceptance of these Modules is not available from the U.S. Army. Suppliers capable of maintaining / repairing these Modules must indicate, in writing, to COMMANDER, US ARMY CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-HIB, 6565 Surveillance Loop, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846. The response must include documentation if the supplier was subcontracted to listed source, that the supplier / vendor can perform maintenance / repair services to restore the Modules to serviceable condition. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these Modules that are maintained/repaired will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
