Description

This notice posts the Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.305. The justification supports the award of an emergency contract for the demolition of multiple critically unstable and underutilized buildings located within the secure St. Elizabeths West Campus in Washington, DC. The required services include emergency demolition planning and execution; hazardous materials abatement; utility isolation and removal; environmental controls; site stabilization; and restoration activities necessary to mitigate documented life-safety and security risks. The action was taken under FAR 6.302-2 due to unusual and compelling urgency. This notice is for transparency purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
