- Description
- The 16th Air Force is offering a CSO authorized by 10 USC 3458 and DFARS 212.70 Defense Commercial Solutions Opening. Under a CSO, the USAF may competitively award contracts to proposals received in response to a general solicitation, similar to a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA), to acquire innovative commercial items, technologies, and services, based on a review of proposals by scientific, technological, or other subject-matter expert peers within the USAF. Under this CSO, all items, technologies, and services shall be treated as commercial items. The USAF intends to obtain ""innovative"" solutions or potential new capabilities that fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, or provide potential technology advancements. Solutions may include existing technologies or procedures, not currently in use by the USAF, that would enhance or streamline USAF mission capabilities. ""Innovative"" is defined as any technology, process or method that is new as of the date of submission of a proposal. It also includes any new application of an existing technology, process, or method. Call 0001 (Topic 0007, MRT-C Automation) is now closed for submissions. Call 0002 (Topic 0006, CTIOS) is now closed for submissions. Call 0003 (Topic 0007, Modernization of Joint Command Language Program Manager Database) is now closed for submissions Call 0004 (Topic 0007, WAPS Scheduling Tool) is now closed for submissions. Call 0005 (Topics 0007 & 0016 OSCARS) is Open for Submissions from 12 December 2025 - 3 February 2026 Dear Industry Partners, We appreciate your continued interest and engagement in response to CSO Call 0005. UPDATE: Each company may submit one white paper and one quad chart for this CSO Call. Submissions should address both TOPICS and all requirement needs outlined in the subject CSO Call 0005. If your company has already submitted its one allowable submission, please do not re-submit. If your company has submitted more than one response, we kindly request that you identify which submission you would like to retain or consolidate your responses into a single submission that meets the limitation requirements outlined within the Call. Please ensure that your submission adheres to this update and the guidelines provided in the original CSO Call documentation. The new deadline for submission is 3 February 2026 at 1500 (3:00 PM CST).
