SOLE SOURCE TO TELEDYNE INSTRUMENTS INC./ TELEDYNE MARINE TO ACQUIRE 6 EA. TELEDYNE INSTRUMENTS COMPONENTS AS REQUESTED -- SEE ALL ATTACHMENTS.-- TELEDYNE INSTRUMENTS COMPONENTS: RCPT ASSY 9#20 AWG/ 4FO P/N: 1535154-103 QUANTITY: 6 EACH THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE REQUIREMENT: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) currently has a requirement for Teledyne Instruments components. The items listed above and described in the ""B8 Redacted SSJ"" Attachment are the only items that have been approved for use by the Technical Warrant Holder in the configuration controlled system. If another vendor�s items were to be selected, the system would have to be retested and reverified, resulting in significant project delay and additional cost. Teledyne Instruments does not sell these items through distribution, only direct to the Government. As such, the government does not expect significant savings through competition and it is more advantageous to the Government to award on a sole source basis to the Teledyne Instruments for these item(s).
