VA s purpose for this notice is to conduct market research and identify capable resources from Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and/or capable Open Market Sources. The NAICS Codes for use is 492110 Couriers and Express Delivery Services, and the small business size standard for 492110 is $21.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs will give the opportunity to other offerors in the interest of competition. This advertisement is a notice of a potential opportunity. The advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for proposals. The purpose of this advertisement is to identify potential sources and suitable locations. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this advertisement. Respondents are advised that the Government assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon responses to this advertisement. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Seeks to obtain non-personal, non-emergency ground transportation services for the safe, secure, and compliant transport of Reusable Medical Devices (RMDs), laboratory specimens, mail totes, general supplies, and laundry between VA Boston Healthcare System (VABHS) campuses: Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Brockton, and Lowell CBOC. Transportation of VA personnel and patients is prohibited in the performance of this effort. The attached SOW in this sources sought notice is the first revised draft, which is not the final version and may have changes made.
