- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Hill-Rom, Inc. 1069 State RT E 46E, Batesville, IN 47006-9167. The period of performance for contract award is May 3,2026 to May 2, 2027, with a provision of four (4) option years. This requirement is to provide a comprehensive maintenance service contract for the New York Harbor Healthcare System 423 E 23rd St., New York, NY 10010 to service Hill-Rom s bed fleet. The requirement is to cover Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts, components, accessories, software updates and repairs. Hill-Rom, Inc. is the sole-source supplier of factory authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM ) replacement parts and accessories for Hill-Rom manufactured products. Hill-Rom, Inc. is also the sole-source provider of OEM trained and certified technicians who are qualified to perform maintenance on Hill-Rom equipment. Hill-Rom Inc. Service Team is the only provider of OEM parts, components and software. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by February 9, 2026 10:00 a.m. (EST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
