- This is a combined synopsis solicitation for snowmachine and trailer support in Cold Foot, Alaska. Interested vendors shall complete all applicable sections within the attached SF1449. See also the attached SOW for further specifications. CLARIFICAITION on the Brutal/Shredder or equivalent model snowmachines. We are in need of a snowmachine with the capability of the Lynx Brutal. Specifically, the Brutal as opposed to the Shredder for this environment. The need for a deep snow crossover/utility and trail riding machine with a minimum 850cc engine is for the specific nature which we will utilize the machines (pulling heavy sleds in varying snowpacks/terrain). Other potential options: Ski-doo Expedition Xtreme 850 Ski-doo backcountry x 850 Polaris Switch back/titan crossover 850
