- SOURCES SOUGHT DLA Weapons Support (Columbus) is preparing to solicit a long-term contract for the NSN 6135-014612915. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. The solicitation will be synopsized separately later. The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified business concerns interested in submitting a proposal on the below listed NSN(s). Item details are as follows: NSN 6135-014612915 BATTERY, NONRECHARGE Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) � 511 Unit of Issue � Each North American Industry Classification System Codes (NAICS) � 335910 NAICS Business Size � 1,250 The currently approved manufacturer and associated part numbers for each item are listed in Attachment 1 titled, Market Research NSN Spreadsheet. While DLA may have drawings/specifications associated with these items, only the source and part numbers listed are currently approved. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation.
