- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this Sources Sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research. The Government will entertain question concerning this market research. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of businesses to provide 4-Inch, Cast Iron, Full Port Ball Valves that are manufactured in the United States for the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State. Specification: Size: 4"" Cast Iron Flanged Full Port Ball Valve Pressure Rating: 200# WOG Ball Valve: PFE (Perfluoroethylene) Lined or Fused Operation: Lever Handle Face-to-Face Dimension: 9"" Center of Port to Top: 9"" Flange Diameter: 9"" Port Diameter: 4"" Bolt Holes: 8 per flange Body Material: A126 Class B Cast Iron Stem: Blow-out Proof Stainless Steel Seats: Reinforced PTFE Standards: Face-to-Face and Flanged Dimensions conform to ANSI B16.10, matching end-to-end dimensions of all cast iron gate valves and plug valves Locking: Lockable in fully open and closed positions Handle: Removable for installation in limited space areas Port: Full port through Ratings: 125 psi WSP 200psi WOG The capability statement must include the following: 1) Company name and point of contact information. 2) UEI Number 3) Business size whether large or small. If small please provide your socio-economic status such as 8(A), HUBZONE, SDVOSB, ETC.) 4) Provide place of manufacture of the ball valves scaffolding parts. Responses are due no later than 17:00 PM, PT, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and shall be electronically submitted to Terry Mest at tmest@usbr.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this sources sought or any follow-up information requests.
