- Description
- Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site have a highway graded wayfinding sign on Highway 15 North about a mile past the Maryland/Pennsylvania border (39.734819, -77.297984). This sign was recently struck by a vehicle and the breakaway hardware and the sign facing, and overlay was damaged. The National Park Service is seeking competitive quotes from PennDOT certified or licensed company to make repairs to the sign base breakaway hardware, erect the post, and replace the sign overlay. The sign overlay will require edits to the message to reflect current guidance, and a similar edit to the parks southbound sign will also be required in accordance with the Scope of Work/Project Overview.
