Description

The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, MEDCOM, Fort Hood, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to REES Scientific Corporation., an other than small business, under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, to provide maintenance and temperature monitoring support for the Government-owned Rees Scientific central monitoring system for all refrigerators and freezers at Munson Army Health Center, Fort Leavenworth, OK 66027. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811210, and the size standard is 34M. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the Government-owned Rees Scientific central monitoring system services. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The Fort Hood Health Contracting Branch, Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West intends to make a sole source award to REES Scientific Corporation, 1007 Whitehead Road EXT, Ewing, NJ 08638-2428.
