- Sources Sought W58RGZ-26-R-0042 OVERHAUL/UPGRADE OF THE GEARBOX, ACCESSORY DRIVE FOR THE UH-60 BLACK HAWK INTRODUCTION: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal (W58RGZ) ATTN: CCAM- ALB, Building 5303, Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280 (US) is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide Upgrade and overhaul of the Accessory Drive Gearbox. The resulting contract will be a 5-YEAR, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, firm fixed-price contract with a MIN/MAX 70/250 (FMS QTY 32). NOMENCLATURE: Gearbox, Accessory Drive INPUT NSNs: 1615-01-353-3825, 1615-01-527-8175 Input P/N: 70351-08001-049, 70351-08001-050 OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-527-8175 Output P/N: 70351-08001-050 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 70 each � Maximum 250 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 32 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include, name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers and email address. SOURCE(S) UNIQUE QUALIFICATIONS TO PROVIDE THIS PART: DMWR 1-1615-374, dated 05/30/2018 has been identified for this effort; however, the Gearbox, Accessory Drive is an aviation Critical Safety Item (CSI) as defined by DFARS 209.270-2. As such, the upgrade/overhaul can only be performed by a source approved by the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Currently, the only known approved source for the Gearbox, Accessory Drive is Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Large Business), CAGE (78286). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation or questions to the following address: usarmy.redstone.ccdc- avmc.mbx.ed-sar@army.mil. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested.
