Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Vicksburg District (USACE-MVK), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Carrier Corporation (1GPA2) for the purchase of a new Carrier 30RC or equivalent chiller unit to be installed in the MV Benyaurd air conditioning system. The Benyaurd crew will assist with labor on the removal of the old/existing unit and installation of the new unit. The old/existing unit is a Carrier Model 30RAN035 611KA, Serial # 1707Q07123 Chiller. All requirements in this scope of work shall be completed no later than 31 May 2026. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), and no solicitation is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it can meet the Vicksburg District�s requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement, which, if received by 12:00 PM CST on 16 February 2026, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete this purchase based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
