- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract IAW FAR 6.302-1, to Siemens Medical solutions USA, Inc. for the Rochester VA Outpatient Center, Canandaigua VAMC for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS code is 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing. Part Description Quantity Part Number Fast Spine #AWP 1 14433563 Canandaigua VAMC, Rochester Outpatient clinic has established a requirement to upgrade Rochester CT to the Siemens FAST Spine #AWP. Siemens FAST Spine #AWP is only available directly from Siemens. No other source would be able to provide repair and support for the Rochester Outpatient clinic FAST Spine #AWD per the sole source letter provided by Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.. Rotronic Instrument Corp Solution THIS NOTICE IS NOT A RQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, HOWEVER, Any firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by February 24th 2026 @3:00PM EDT. Responses shall be submitted via email to Lorraine.Hussain@va.gov. Telephone request or inquiries will not be accepted.
