Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with JEOL USA Inc. located at 11 Dearborn RD., Peabody, Massachusetts 01960 for the following instrument: JSM-IT710HR. Cage Code: 51043. The NAICS code is 334516. Detailed Salient Characteristic are Attached. The authority for this non-competitive award is Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, Title 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 12.201-1. The Government intends to procure this as a sole source requirement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition regarding this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 17 February 2026 @ 10AM EST, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
