- The purpose of this amendment is to add the following two clauses from the revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) overhaul (RFO) which both provide guidance and requires compliance: 52.225-1 Buy American-Supplies 52.225-2 Buy American Certificate All other requirements for quote submission stated in the original solicitation still apply. There is no change to the quote submission due date. Vendors are required to submit completed and signed copies of both the original SF1449 and all modification document(s) (SF-30); this being modification 0001.
