Description

This award was issued under the authority of FAR 16.507-6(b)(1), Exception to Fair Opportunity � Unusual and Compelling Urgency. Due to the urgent nature of the requirement, providing fair opportunity to all contract holders would have resulted in unacceptable delays. The Emerging Technology & Design Acceleration Branch (ETDAB) within OCIO is a resource for CDC and its public health partners, that identifies, studies, models, and tests new and innovative technology-based tools, approaches, best practices and resources to maximize programmatic public health impact. The contractor provides consultation, evaluation, guidance, and support of the use of new information technology and health information technology (informatics) solutions and architecture while working directly with customers & end-users to facilitate design sessions that leverage human-centered design principles.
