- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Acquisitions, on behalf of Homeland Security Investigations, intends to acquire Magnet Forensics� AXIOM forensic software and associated training as a brand name only requirement under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule. This document serves as a Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition pursuant to FAR 8.405?6(a)(1)(C), �Items peculiar to one manufacturer (e.g., a particular brand?name, product, or a feature of a product).� Magnet AXIOM has been determined to be the only product that meets HSI�s specific operational and technical requirements for digital forensics. This requirement is designated Law Enforcement Sensitive. Accordingly, once the order is awarded, only a redacted Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with applicable FAR requirements.
