Description

Place of Performance: Cardiovascular Healthcare Interventional Radiology (CVIR) Department, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, 20889 The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division � North East (HCD-NE), Falls Church, VA on behalf of the Walter Reed National Medical Military Center (WRNMMC), Cardiovascular Healthcare Interventional Radiology (CVIR), intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy the agency requirements, for preventative and unscheduled maintenance of the following vendor�s proprietary systems, equipment, software, (software operating systems) firmware, data communications systems, and ancillary supplies to support the sustainment of the operation of the following vendor�s equipment and systems installed at Biosense Webster, Inc., 31 Technology Drive, Suite 200, Irvine, CA 92618-2302; is the only manufacturer and provider of Biosense Webster CARTO� 3 System, the SMARTABLATE� System, Biosense Webster modules and Biosense Webster accessories. The estimated cost is approximately $726,269.00. The NAICS code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract IS NOT a request for competitive proposals, or quotes. There will be no Request for Proposals (RFP); or Quote (RFQ) available for competitive responses. Phone calls will not be accepted. However, the government will consider informational responses to this notice (BY ELECTRONIC MAIL ONLY) (email) for a period of eleven (10) days beginning upon the date of this posting. Biosense Webster, Inc., is an other than small business. Interested parties may express their interest and provide a capabilities statement NLT Thursday 26 February 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. The determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
