- Update, 2/17/26: The FAA will utilize a Challenge Based Acquisition (ChBA) to acquire the services described in this RFI. The FAA has issued a separate announcement on SAM for Phase 1 of this ChBA. The new title of this acquisition is the Accelerated Transformation of Legacy Applications and Systems (ATLAS). Interested companies should review the announcement and respond accordingly. This notice is being provided for informational purposes. Update, 12/19/25: The FAA is attaching file �SSD_RFI_QA_2025-12-19.pdf� to answer questions submitted from interested respondents. The due date for RFI responses has not changed. Initial RFI Posting, 12/04/25: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) pursuant to FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1. Please see the attached RFI document for all details and instructions for responses.
