Description

UPDATE (2) Two - RFIs / Responses and ADDITIONAL PHOTOS - 6973GH-26-R-00074. SOW Requirement 2.b, Repairs, bullet 5 states: Install new security wire on the perimeter fence of the compound. Can the Government confirm that torque arm assemblies are the preferred solution to this requirement? If not, please confirm if 3-runs of barbed wire across the top of the fence is an acceptable solution? Replace existing barbed wire at the top of the compound fence with new barbed wire. Picture of existing attached. SOW Requirement 2.e, Site Specific Requirements, bullet 1 states: Installation of four guy wire bracket assemblies on tower. Question: Can the Government provide additional information on the current brackets such as make/model or provide a product cut sheet? No brackets are currently installed, and guy wires are wrapped around the tower leg. The requirement is for four new Rohn 55 guy bracket assemblies to be installed. Picture of existing guy attachment attached. SOW Requirement 2.e, bullet 5 states: Remove and trim excess transmission line as required and re-terminate the line. Question: Are the current connectors re-usable? No If not, can the Government provide the current connector brand model and connector type? The connector brand model and type is not currently available. UPDATE (1) One - ADDITIONAL PHOTOS 6973GH-26-R-00074. The purpose of this update is to respond to an Request for Information (RFI) for Pre-Bid Site Walk-thru and additional site photos. There will not be an opportunity for a pre bid site walk-thru. Additional site photos are hereby provided as attatchment ""Bean Ridge Photo Deck. 2"". All other terms and conditions remain in full force and effect. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The scope of this contract includes the implementation of guy system tensioning, installation of guy wire bracket assemblies, tower lightning protection, corrosion abatement, and any minor repairs necessary to properly tension the designated USFS communication tower. All work shall conform to applicable industry standards relevant to the specific tower structure identified. The selected contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and technical expertise necessary to complete the tasks.
