Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Fluke Electronics Corporation (UEI: YA5LYT9J7TX5). The 60th Contracting Squadron, Travis AFB, CA, intends to procure one (1) new Fluke 5560A High-Performance Multi-Product Calibrator and one (1) 55XXA/Coil 50 turn current coil. This equipment is a direct replacement for an obsolete model and is required by the 60th MXS Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) to support mission-critical calibration for a wide range of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
