Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to award a sole source contract to Molrix LLC, 106 Red Branch Drive, Madison, Alabama 35758-6657. This requirement is to lease one (1) Prototype/Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machine and lease one (1) Full Rate Production Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machine, including machine documentation, software to operate, and engineering services for both pieces of equipment. The Government intends to acquire this service under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Only one responsible source, Molrix LLC, has been identified that can meet the Government�s specific needs for this requirement. However, if any interested party can provide the Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machines and related services, you may submit a statement of capabilities that may be considered by Tobyhanna Army Depot. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement in the future. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be received via email only and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow the Government to determine if the party can meet the requirements. Capability statements and related materials shall be e-mailed to Deborah Belak at deborah.belak.civ@army.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Friday, March 20, 2026.
