Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NON-COMPETITIVE (NOTICE OF INTENT) SYNOPSIS TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT PROVIDING FOR FULL OR OPEN COMPETITION (INCLUDING BRAND-NAME). The National Institute of Aging (NIA) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order without providing for full and open competition to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC (Thornwood, NY). The purpose of this requirement is to provide service and maintenance support for the Zeiss LSM 980 and Celldiscoverer 7 microscope systems currently installed at the Center for Alzheimer�s Disease and Related Dementias.
