- *AMENDMENT 0002* This notice formally amends the salient characteristics for all CLINs to solidify that all wood components must be manufactured from a single, solid piece. Modified, joined, or laminated parts are explicitly forbidden and will be rejected. Quotations are now due 19 March 2026 at 9:00 AM EST. *AMENDMENT 0001* This notice serves to formally modify the description of CLIN 0002 to M1 Garand Front Hand Guards and add CLIN 0003 M1 Garand Rear Hand Guards. This change is made to clear confusion regarding the hand guard requirement. Quotations are still due 16 March 2026 at 9:00 AM EST. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon has a requirement for (125) M1 Garand Stocks and (125) M1 Garand Rear and Front Hand Guards. Please see the attached combined synopsis/solicitation to view salient characteristics. The action resulting from this opportunity will be a Fixed Firm Price (FFP) Purchase Order. Quoters/Offerors must specify the soonest delivery date. Questions are due: 12 March 2026 AT 4:00 PM EST Quotes are due: 16 March 2026 AT 9:00 AM EST
