Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type Delivery Order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001926G1004 to FedTribe LLC (FedTribe), King William, VA, for the procurement of Insitu ScanEagle UAS hardware. The anticipated delivery period will be 210 days after contract award. As the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of ScanEagle UAS platform, Insitu is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services. This acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.108 Contracting With the Small Business Administration (the 8(a) Program). THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any responses received. There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. No telephone responses will be accepted.
