- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This is not a solicitation but rather a Request for Information (RFI/Sources Sought) for market research purposes only. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is issuing this Source Sought in order to identify capable firms and obtain information for planning purposes only. All respondents shall include as part of their response a brief capability statement that covers the information in the following tentative statement of work, as well as answers to the questions below. All respondents shall be registered and active in SAM.gov | Home The purpose of this source sought is to elicit feedback from industry on our intended procurement approach. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition approach (e.g., socioeconomic set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). As stated in FAR 52.225-1 Buy American SUPPLIES Intended Procurement Approach STATEMENT OF WORK FOR ULTRASOUND PROBES-BUILDING 3/RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT COATESVILLE VA MEDICAL CENTER DESCRIPTION: The radiology ultrasound clinic requires the Ge Healthcare LOGIQ E10 3D/4D ultrasound probes for OB/GYN ultrasound procedures for our women veterans here at Coatesville radiology department in Building 3 Room B-51. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The Coatesville VA Medical Center (CVAMC) - 1400 Blackhorse Hill Rd, Bldg. 3, Coatesville, PA 19320. BACKGROUND: Coatesville VA Medical Center s radiology department started up a new scan for our women veterans. This new clinic will provide ultrasound imaging to our women veterans for all OB and GYN needs. The probes will provide state-of-the-art imaging for our women veteran population here at the Coatesville radiology department. Coatesville s radiology department has recently begun a women s OB/GYN clinic. These Ge LOGIQ E10 3D/4D ultrasound probes will provide advanced imaging in our GYN clinic and our Heart Echo clinic as well. SCOPE: The Clinical applications specialist shall provide training on the new uploaded applications for the Ge LOGIQ E10 ultrasound equipment in radiology department. The clinical applications manager will also provide training for 2 ultrasound technologists on the new Ge LOGIQ E10 3D/4D probes for imaging patients in the radiology department for patient care ultrasound exams. The installation of the new application to the Ge LOGIQ E10 machine. Install new LOGIQ E10 3D/4D probes to current ultrasound equipment. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: The probes shall comply with all performance requirements listed in contract. Probes shall connect to existing Ge LOGIQ E10 equipment in Coatesville VA Medical Center. Materials: The Probes will be inspected and entered into inventory by Logistics and Biomed for approval prior to installation. Testing and Acceptance: At the completion of all performance requirements, the contractor shall demonstrate for the Probes and their image abilities. Acceptance testing and applications to be completed after probes are received in radiology department Coatesville VA Medical Center.
