- THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is NOT a Request for Quotation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract/purchase order. The Regional Contracting Office � Parris Island is seeking vendors who can provide the 4th Marine Corps District (MCD) with professional moving services. The intent of the government is to seek vendors that are able to support this relocation as indicated below. All feedback and information received is for Market Research Purposes Only. Relocation Information Move From Location: 2300 Rexwoods Drive, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27607 (First Floor) Move To Location: 4000 Westchase Blvd, FL5, Raleigh, NC 27607 (Fifth Floor) Building Specifications for Move To Location: Main Lobby Doors (1st Floor): Width: 35 in, Height: 94 in Hallway (5th Floor): Width: 71 in Cargo Bay Door (1st Floor): Width: 58 in, Height: 95 in Service Elevator Door: Width: 58 in, Height: 95 in Service Elevator Interior: Width: 51 in, Height: 107 in, Length: 81 in Main Elevator Door: Width: 41 in, Height: 64 in Main Elevator: Width: 51 in, Height: 101 in, Length: 80 in Clearance into Office Space (5th Floor): 72 in wide Freight Elevator (To/From 5th Floor): Doors: 92 in wide x 96 in high clearance Distance Between Locations: Less than 5 miles Requirements: Site visit is mandatory if this requirement is solicited. Vendors must be prepared to visit the locations to be considered for an award. Provide all necessary labor, equipment, and expertise to successfully execute the relocation of an entire office. Tasks include disassembly, packing, transportation, reassembly, and cleanup. Certificate of Insurance (COI): Vendors must provide a current COI to perform moving services (see attachment). Protection of Property: Common area walls and lobby floors must be protected during the move. Move Timing: Moves must occur after 4:00 PM Monday-Friday, or anytime on Saturday and Sunday. Door Handling: Do not prop doors open, as this may trigger alarms or damage ADA automatic door sensors. Coordination: Vendors must coordinate with the lessor regarding mover arrival times to assist with other tenants and blocking parking spaces if needed.
