The system shall be composed of standard off-the-shelf, catalog advertised items. The acquisition portion of the system shall be capable of acquiring RS-170 standard video images at the 60 Hz Field rate, digitizing these images and storing them on removable hard disk storage media. The image processing portion shall be capable of Reading the digitizedimages, of performing X-Y position, contract tracking of the laser spot in each Field and of performing basic image analysis and enhancement algorithms to include edge sharpening, backgroundsubtraction, contract stretching and image histograms. These functions shall be performed on two separate, free Standing, highspeed, DOS based computer platforms. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business.
