70 -- PENTIUM DESKTOP COMPUTER SYSTEM SOL DABT60-CBD5-0009 DUE 011595 POC Connie Topp, (804) 878-1306/9 This is a notice of intent to purchase from Gateway 2000 GSA Schedule the following: P5-90 XL Pentium microprocessor, Tower case, 45 EA to include a 90mhz Processor, 64MB RAM, a SVGA video controller card with 2mbVRAM, other than diamond, 3.5'' internal high density disk drive, internal 2x CD ROM Drive, 17'' Multi-Synch Monitor, Ethernet Lan card with twisted pair and BNC connectors and 14.4 Baud Fax/Modem. These will be delivered Fort Leavenworth KS. No solitation document exists and no telephone inquires will be accepted. Written response including GSA contract number, if applicable, prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirements, must be received by this office by 15 calendar days after notice. If no affirmative responses are received within this time frame to determine that a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available, an order will be placed with the above named vendor. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response: however, if issuance of a solicitation is determined to be appropiate, you will be included on the bidder's mailing list. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Responses/requests for proposal must state that the vendor is not currently on the Consolidated List of Debarred, Suspended and Ineligible Contractors or otherwise ineligible to receive Government contracts. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitiation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicatation. (0364)
