Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform routine drydock vessel maintenance including but not limited to the following base items: 1. inspect overhaul and test barge boat davit 2. overhaul air capstan 3. inspect, overhaul and test Appleton Crane 4. renew secondary drainage system retention tank 5. clean and inspect diesel fuel tanks 6. temporary logistics 7. routine drydocking 8. upgrade sewage system 9. renew ship service diesel generators and replace grid coolers 10. upgrade engine room ventilation system 11. upgrade power and lighting system 12. renew overhead, sheathing, and insulation in crew's berthing. The ``Western Rivers'' means the navigable portions of Mississippi River and its tributaries above mile 0 of the Lower Mississippi River. Navigable tributaries of the Mississippi River include only the waterways within the areas of jurisdiction of Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Facilities as described in Light List Volume V (COMDTINST M16502.5), and the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway to the mouth of the Mobile River. This includes protected portions of the Intra Coastal Waterway connected to the ``Western Rivers,'' but specifically excludes unprotected or open waters such as Mobile Bay, Lake Borne, or the Gulf of Mexico. There will be a non-refundable charge required in the form of a certified check or money order made payable to the U.S. Coast Guard in the amount of $100.00 for requested U.S. Coast Guard specification reference drawings. The proposed contract listed here is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both large and small businesses.
