Updegrove, Contracting Officer, (202) 634-4598 The United States Department of Energy has a requirement for the acquisition through a competitive small business set-aside of specialized technical, investigative and enforcement support services for the Office of the Nuclear and Facility Safety, Office of Environment, Safety and Health. The work will include technical reviews; analyses; research; surveys; investigations; audits; the performance of independent compliance assessments and evaluations; and development and delivery of documentation in support of these efforts. The contractor must have or be capable of being granted appropriate security clearances and access to classified information. Offerors are notified that a special DOE Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) clause, DEAR 952.209-72, will apply to this acquisition. This acquisition is set aside for small businesses. The applicable SIC Code is 8711 and the size standard is $2.5 million. A Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, task assignment, contract is contemplated for one twenty-four month base period (10,750 direct productive labor hours) and three one-year option periods (5,375 direct productive labor hours each).
