70 -- IBM SOFTWARE POC Contact Point, Beverly Brown, (202)720-8614 The United States Department of Agriculture intends to continue its LTOP lease of the following IBM software: 5668-801 GDDM/IMD and 5668-812 GDDM/PGF. The remaining systems life is 24 months. The software is installed on an IBM-compatible, large scale, mainframe CPU. USDA has the right to allow any authorized end-user to access and use applications designed, developed, maintained and operated using the software. Interested parties may provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. In order to be evaluated, respondents must submit clear and convincing documentation. The documentation must include descriptive literature with sufficient technical information to substantiate the respondent's ability to meet USDA's needs and pricing. This is not a request for offers or proposals. No solicitation documents exist. Requests for an IFB or RFP will not receive an acknowledgement. All responses to this notice must be received thirty days from the date of publication of this notice.
