Smith,215/6 56-6091 The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment for the planned interior renovations to the Edward A. Garmatz Courthouse in Baltimore, Maryland. Base bid work includes renovations to one courtroom, two courtsets, and one Judge's chamber and adjacent corridor (totaling approximately 12000 square feet), 9000 square feet of fireproofing, removal of 150 PCB-containing ballasts and disposal of 300 pounds of ballasts; VAV box replacement and related HVAC, electrical and general construction throughout the building. Option work includes renovations to five additional courtsets totaling about 15000 square feet. The work requires removal and modified replacement of architectural elements (extensive new millwork) mechanical systems, and electrical systems. All work performed on the premises shall be on an ''after hours'' basis to minimize disturbance to the occupied courthouse and office building. Project location: Edward A.
