Carderock Division, Ship Service Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) is attempting to locate qualified sources of supply for major components of the Isotta Fraschini ID 36V 6SS-AM Ship's Service and Propulsion Diesel Engine used on MCM3 through 14 and MHC-51 Class Ships, such as Pistons, Main Bearings, Intake/Exhaust Valves, Oil Cooler Assembly, Cooler Core and Valve Seats. This is not a request for proposals. Interested sources are requested to submit documentation substantiating their qualifications to produce Isotta Fraschini Diesel Engine Parts. This is not a request for proposals and does not commit the Government to the award of a contract. Any comments provided may/may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to the request for information, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
