acquire Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) Tower Subsystems
for the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station at New Orleans.
The proposed acquisition will be solicited on the basis of Full and
Open Unrestricted Competition based on Brand Name or Equal
Specifications. The Contractor will provide 9 each, UNI Solution, Inc.
RAID Tower Subsystem Number TE-32, or equal, with a Minimum of 14.7GB
Total Formatted Capacity at RAID Level 0; 12.6GB Total Formatted
Capacity at RAID Levels 3, 5; 8MB of Read/Write CACHE Memory; one (1)
Host Interface (Support Up to 3 Hosts); 28 ''Hot Swap'' Disk Shuttles
with Locks; Seven (7) 3.5'' Hard Drives (Six (6) RAID Drives, 1 (1)
HOT/WARM Spare); Five (5) ''Hot Swap'' Multiple/Sharing Power Supplies;
four (4) Removable ''Quick Disconnect'' Fans; Monitoring Software and
SCSI Cables and Terminators. Delivery will be made to the Joint
Logistics Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton,
OH. A firm-fixed price, supply contract stipulating delivery 30 days
after award is contemplated. The applicable Standard Classification
Number is 3572. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which
shall be considered by the Naval Regional Contracting Center. Requests
