Replace the built-up roof and flashing with a new built-up roof at the Granville Elder Station, Houston, TX 77013-9998. Air samplings for asbestos-containing roof material will be required. Contractor shall submit a letter with their offer from the primary roofing manufacturer stating the contractor is approved to apply the designated roofing systems and qualifies for the Manufacturer's 20 Year unlimited penal warranty for defects in both materials and labor. At least three years experience as a contractor approved for the installation of 20 year NDL warranties is required. Estimated cost range $120,000 - $155,000 and construction time is 90 calendar days. A 20% proposal bond is required. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds. Offers will be receiived in this office, prior to, but not later than 3:00 p.m. on January 31, 1995. Offers will not be publicly opened and all proposal information received will remain confidential until contract is awarded.
