Work to include, but not limited to demolition, asbestos abatement, install showers, install soundproofing on existing classroom walls, and provide all mechanical, electrical and plumbing to furnish and install new HVAC and fire alarm detection system in Bldg 501 at Goodfellow AFB, TX, San Angelo, Tx. This solicitation is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) business concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as soon as possible, but no later than 15 calendar days of this notice, indicate interest in this solicitation by providing evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business Concern to the address listed above. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, this solicitation will be issued as full and open competition, for both large and small business concerns, without futher notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns, as well as SDB concerns. The SIC for this solicitation is 1542 and the small busines size standard is $17.0 million. Bids from all responsible, responsive bidders will be considered. Performance period for this proposed acquisition is 270 calander days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
