Work includes: Remove existing finish on approximately 5100 s.f. of interior marble; bleach color pigmentation or stains; make necessary repairs to breaks and chips; and apply two coats clear penetrating sealer to interior building marble, as specified. Various areas include basement, 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor walls; restroom walls, partitions and window sills; and staircase wainscot; and does not include floors. All work to be performed at the Federal Building/U.S. Courthouse, 102 North 4th Street, Grand Forks, ND. Bid opening date is scheduled for March 1, 1995. Plans and specifications are available after January 24, 1995. Requests for bid packages must be made in writing to the above Contracting Officer. Work shall be performed outside regular hours and/or weekends. Total time for completion is 120 days. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
