Presolicitation Notice - The work includes the furnishing of all labor, approved material and equipment necessary for the REPAIR By REPLACEMENT HALON FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS BUILDINGS 606, 610 AND 54 (R6-94) At THE NAVAL COMMAND, CONTROL AND OCEAN SURVEILLANCE CENTER RDTE DIVISION, SAN DIEGO, CA. The work also includes demolition of existing Halon 1301 fire extinguishing systems, installation of clean agent FM-200 fire extinguishing systems, connection to existing fire detection systems, removal of Halon 1301 storage tanks and delivery to the Government at designated locations and incidental related work complete and ready for use. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Firm Fixed Price Contract - Estimated start date is 15 March 1995 with 120 days to complete the work. NOTE: Plans and specifications will not be mailed to firms within a 25 mile radius of the issuing office. Tentative issue date for Plans and specifications will be 20 January 1995 with an opening date of approvimately 30 days later (Note: Bid issue date stated above is TENTATIVE).
