The near-field antenna measurement system (hereafter referred to as the Test Set) shall consist of a high-precision planar near-field scanner with a minimum 9.0 foot vertical by 11.5 foot horizontal scan area, and all associated RF and computer equipment necessary for complete turn-key operation. The scanner shall have motorized X, Y, Z1, and polarization axes and shall have a horizontal scan rate of 4 in/sec and a vertical scan rate of 6 in/sec. The Test Set shall perform antenna near-field measurements, utilizing both CW and pulsed signals, from S-Band up through Ku-Band. The Test Set shall have the capability to calculate, display and analyze far-field and aperture distribution data as computed from the measured near-field data.
