Sauceda, 913/239-6251 (Site Code DAKF19) Procurement of Map of Loggerhead Shrike Survey on the Fort Riley Reservation, Fort Riley, KS to include a map (with associated digital, GIS grass compatible data-base) to delineate and classify the quality of all potential loggerhead shrike habitat found on the Fort Riley military reservation based upon the Kansas Biological Survey-developed model for description of loggerhead shrike habitat quality in Kansas. Embedded within the map's digital data-base shall be field-check verified descriptions of the natural community quality of 100 systematically chosen areas of representative shrike habitat on the reservation. This is a notice of intent to contract sole source with Kansas Biological Survey, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS. WRITTEN RESPONSES INCLUDING GSA CONTRACT NUMBER, IF APPLICABLE, PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS, MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE WITHIN 15 CALENDAR DAYS OF THIS NOTICE. All response from responsible sources will be considered. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be required. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended scheduled vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response; however, if issuance of a solicitation is determined to be appropriate, you will be included on the bidders mailing list.
