Bigham,4 04/331-4870 This modification applies to the Construction
Management (CM) Supplemental Contracts for the States of North
Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Kentucky,
Tennessee and Mississippi, which were published originally in Issue No.
PSA-1244, December 16, 1994. The purpose of this modification is to
delete the statement: ''As part of the General Services Administration
commitment to the Federal socio-economic program, the following
Subcontracting goals have been established for FY95: Small Businesses
(32%), Small Disadvantaged Businesses (6%), and Small Women- Owned
Businesses (3%). A short-listed, large business firm will be required
to submit a Subcontracting plan for approval that at the minimum, meets
the aforementioned subcontracting goals.'' Replace with: ''As part of
its commitment to socioeconmic initiatives of the Federal Government,
the General Services Administration has established for fiscal year
1995 subcontracting goals of 32 percent for Small Business, 6 percent
for Small Disadvantaged Business, and 3 percent for Women-Owned
Business. Large businesses will be required to demonstrate a proactive
effort to achieve the goals listed above for all subcontracted work.
An acceptable Subcontracting Plan must be agreed upon prior to contract
award to any large business. Large businesses should contact the
Contracting Officer for a copy of the Small Business Subcontracting
Plan.'' As a result of this revision, the due date is extended to
January 24, 1995 at 3:00pm (EST). (0006) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0017 19950109\C-0001.SOL)
